  • Stages of Beauty very bad business ethics

I ordered and received a trial of the beauty cream they advertise. When I tried to call them to cancel my order, I have been totally unable to reach them. It does not matter what time of the day or night I call, I always get put on hold. It is sad that businesses resort to this method of stealing peoples money. I want my order stopped. This is why I do not try other products I may be interested in. It has been a long time and sure enought I got burned again. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. More...

  • Stages of Beauty not Honest

This company is NOT forthcoming. They hide in thier fine print that after your initial free trial, where you pay for shipping ($4.99), that a 30 day supply will automaticly ensue for $69ish! First the reality is it is $80! Second you must call and cancel the program before they ship out your first 30 day suppy, which is the sme small size as the free trial! The problem for me is the fine print. The company carries a dishonest spirit and has no way of telling you this information more clearly, obiously. I think it is a scam. You can do better, love you, wrinkles and all. Forget Stages of... More...

  • Customer service

i am very disappointment in this company customer service matter! I was told to call in before the due date to cancel the product but when i did, the other customer service told me that the i should have call yesterday and the order already ship out! Understand to train your employees to say the correct information. Cause now i have to end up getting the products that i did not asked for and have to ship the product back when i dont have time! When i asked to talk to the supervisor about the matter they told me the problem have to get back to them in 2-3 business days. That so bad for a new... More...

Tried the trial offer from Stages Of Beauty and then started all these charges to my credit card and had canceled this offer. There are several charges for $79.87 on my card for no reason. I am very upset that I was taken by a scam and that i likes your trial offer and product and wouldve continued recieving this if had not been ripped off. I expect a reverse charge on all the money charged to my account or will report to better business bureau , credit company, and legal services. • Came Postage Due!

Like many others, I ordered the sample. As I didn't call in time to cancel the order, I paid for it. However, I did call to cancel any further shipments. When I returned home from vacation, I had a notice from the post office stating I had a package there. It has $5.63 in postage due. I have refused to accept the package. I also filed a dispute with my credit card company, advising them not to pay them. More...

  • Stages of Beauty scam

This review has been resolved or replied to by this company. I ordered the free trial and was charged three times to total $150.00. After calling them they claim that I agreed to be charged when I signed up to get the free sample. I do not remember seeing these terms when I signed up for the free sample. This is a poor way of doing business when you have to trick the customer into buying the product. I have seen a lot of bad reviews for this same issue. The company needs to figure out if they want a long term or short term business. Bad business like this will be the end of them. Word is traveling fast. What are you going to do about it. More...

  • FRAUD - put on continuing monthly order which I did not request nor agree to.

I ordered the free sample from Stages of Beauty and due to illness never opened it, with the low postage charge of $6.39. Less than 3 weeks later I was charged for and received another one at $80.75. I called the company, they cancelled the "order" and I was instructed in how to return the 2nd order for total credit. I did return it, handed it to our mail carrier myself, and although that has been over 6 weeks ago, no credit has been received. I just called - they asked for 72 hours before I contact the card company to complain, and have the charge reversed. This was a total... More...

  • Idiots...

I just saw an ad for the free sample online and decided to check out the reviews. MANY companies online pull this same crap. If you look at the reviews on this site alone, the only positive reviews came from stagesofbeauty...what a sham. If you look at responses to complaints, it is the same pat answer every single time. I have never tried this product, and obviously never will. Don't waste your time or money. If it seems too good to be true... More...

  • Stages of Beauty

I ordered Stages of Beauty serum on a 30 day free trial. In 18 days they sent me more products without my permission and charged my account $69 dollars. I went to the bank and obtained their phone number as none was listed anywhere. They said to call them first before we put in a claim. I called them and was very nice hoping that would work. They were very nice, told me to send the product back and they would reimburse my money in my bank accout within 5 days. Three weeks later I called them back. They said they had not received the package but it was on its way, would process it... More...

The product is okay and perhaps I might have ordered more, if they did not auto ship without telling you. I live on a fixed income and have to budget. • Be Careful !

I ordered the free sample. All I can say is consumers be careful! By ordering the free sample you are signing up to get the product monthly. I am still looking for where it says that. And before I knew it 80.75 was taken out of my account. Had not even tried the product yet. And I was told I will only receive a partial refund so be Careful!!!!!!!!!! More...

  • Mad as Hell!!!!

This is nothing but a skam. Once they get your debit card they charge you with products that you did not order. I am going to the bank tomorrow and I am going to write a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I am on a fixed income and I did not order these products. I only ordered the trial and I was to pay only $4.99 and they have billed by account $81.45 for products that I did not order. I am not angry, I am mad as HELL!!!!!!! More...

I didn't know what the charge was on my credit card for over $81.00. It read fcf ??? with no phone number. I surely didn't authorized that charge. So I called my bank and filed a claim. When the bank gave me the phone number to Stage of beauty they were very nasty on the phone and said because I filed a claim they were not returning my money. Watch out Ladies!!! More...

  • Charging+Sending Products without CONSENT

Yup, I have the same problem. I was furious. They sent me a product and charged me $82. All i wanted were the sample products to see if they worked. No communications were ever established by phone or email on whether i liked these products or not, did i want more. They just charged my credit card and sent it without consent or even notifying me. That's not very good service at all. The rep said she'd close my acct and reimburse me, what she didn't say was whose responsible for paying return shipping costs. So don't open your package and just Return to Sender. More...

  • Never credited even after refusing package at post office

I was taken advantage of and it was because Stages of Beauty, without my authorization, sent me a full size product on 11/17/2011 and used my billing information from the information they required of me when I supposidly took advantage of their "free" trial size offer. I received the package with the billing information attached in the mail and promptly returned it to the post office unopened. The post office advised me to send the package back- delivery refused, which I did. However, my account has not been credited and its well over thirty days. I am furious. More...

  • Horrible company!

As apparently so many here did, I ordered the "free" sample and paid the shipping fee. The product was fine, nothing spectacular, but reasonable. Then I noticed an unauthorized charge of $74.98 on my account. When I called them, they said it was the membership I had agreed to by getting their sample. This membership was not mentioned in the emails I received from them, nor in the packing materials I received with the samples. When I asked for a refund, they said they had shipped me product, so I would have to wait for it to arrive and then send back to them for my refund. So I... More...

  • FRAUD

Iam so angry I am shaking. I ordered a free sample and paid 2.99 for shipping. Now I have been charged 68.99, 69,99 and two charges of 4.90. I have had to cancel my credit card so no more . unauthorized charges appear. This is a total scam company. I cannot contact them until Monday and if all charges applied to me are not refunded immediatly, I will contact the state attorney general, news media and hire an atorney and file a class action suit. Way too many people on here and have had fraud issues with this company. I have no doubt they will be delighted to go after them. Funny they only... More...

  • Said the refunded my money, they didnt

I ordered a trial sample which automatically signed me up for a monthly membership. (didnt see the fine print) The sample caused me alleric problems. The following month my corporate credit card was charged over $70.00. When I called they cancelled my subscription and told me to send back the product. The product arrived 3 days later, I sent it back UNOPENED. Two weeks later they confirmed receiving it and said the payment was sent back to my bank on my credit card days earlier. It has been 9 days and the payment has NOT appeared on my card. They did not give me back my $70.00 even tho I... More...

  • FRAUD ON CREDIT CARD!!!

I called for a free product sample and was greeted by a very nice man who took my credit card number and I authorize $4.99 to ship a free sample of product. I never EVER authorized this company to charge my credit card for product of any kind and have a reoccurring debit attachment to my checking account and have now cancelled my card so there will be no further charges on my card. However, when calling this company today, the woman I spoke with informed me that I authorized their company on line and failed to cancel within 18 days...I THINK THIS LADY MUST BE SMOKING CRACK! • This is a Scam

I ordered a free trial paying a $5.99 shipping and handling. Next thing I know this company was sending me a monthly delivery and was charging my credit card. I called the customer service to imform them the delivery was unauthorized and she said to just return the parcel and to refuse delivery. I did that and now this company is saying there's no record of receiving the merchandise back. Of course I don't have a tracking number to say they did receive it as I just refused the delivery and have no way of tracing the order. This company is a scam and I feel sorry for the people... • FRAUD-SCAM-Run Away Fast

This is just another fraudulent mail order scam. No Mention on the order web page or in the delivery box about recurring shipments and outrageous prices. BUYERS BEWARE! It took two calls to get it cancelled with a 5 day waiting period for credit back to my card. It makes me wonder if more charges will be processed while I await their credit. If this “stuff” is so good why do they want me to keep it after charging me $74.98? I did not open it so it is safe to assume it is not worth the $4.99 shipping to get it back. They will make enough profit by over charging the folks... More...
